West Africa Acrobats
Super tumbling from Guinea Conakry, The West Africa Acrobats are dynamic international circus performers with talents that include acrobatics, traditional dance and pyramid.
As young children growing up in Guinea, they viewed acrobatics as a kind of super power- something magical that could defy gravity and bring joy to others. They captivate audiences with their high energy performance artistry, and powerful stage presence. The West Africa Acrobats bring cultural connection and storytelling to each show.
Brett Alters
Brett Alters is a versatile performer with a background in acting, clowning and hosting. He has entertained audiences in circuses, concerts and theatres worldwide, sharing stages with a wide range of artists and companies. Credits include P!NK, Cirque du Soleil, Piff the Magic Dragon, Meatloaf, Jewel, Foster the People, America’s Got Talent, Franco Dragone, Slava’s Snowshow, Spiegelworld, The Magic Castle, Circus Flora, Hideaway Circus. Alters graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama/Musical Theatre (CAP21) and furthered his studies at Lesley University, where he earned an MA in Drama Therapy.
Pier Marchand
Pierre Marchand, born in Corsica in 1984 and raised partly in Africa, is a world-renowned diabolo virtuoso celebrated for his dazzling showmanship. Trained at the Paris National Circus School, he has spent the past 25 years performing across Europe’s top circuses and cabarets, winning Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the world’s greatest circus festivals, including honors at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival. With over 8,500 shows at the Lido alone and more than 20 million spectators worldwide, his laser-lit finale in total darkness has become his signature, earning him standing ovations wherever he goes.
Rafael Abuhadba
Rafael and Isabel Abuhadba, sixth-generation circus artists from Chile, are the duo behind The Cartoon Poodles- a heartwarming, comedic act starring their troupe of talented poodles, all rescued from shelters across North America. Blending humor, charm, and dazzling tricks! From conga lines and rope jumping to elegant dance routines, their show celebrates both the intelligence of their canine stars and the power of second chances. Descended from a century-old Chilean circus family, Rafael has performed worldwide since 1985, later joined by Isabel whose warmth and skill made her an essential partner. Together, they’ve graced stages from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey to The Big Apple Circus, delighting millions with a unique blend of artistry, compassion, and joy.
