What can you expect from the experience?
The Big Apple Circus experience includes a one-ring circus show presented in a Big Top tent, exhibition elements, a food and beverage and retail experience, and a range of interactive moments and photo opportunities.
What is the theme for this year’s show?
The Big Apple Circus presents Hometown Playground. An all-new production that will enthrall audiences of all ages with daring stunts, comedy bits, and classic thrills. Celebrating the joy, wonder, and amazement of New York City, the most exciting hometown in the world!
Is the show different from last year’s show?
Yes, this year we have an all-new show.
Who are the performers in this year’s show?
We have 14 circus and variety acts from around the world in addition to a company of local dancers and 8 live musicians.
Are animals involved in the show?
Yes, this year will include an act featuring rescued poodles from shelters across America, Abuhadba Poodles.
What is the running time of the show?
Each show runs for approximately 120 minutes including a 20-minute intermission.
You are welcome to arrive up to 60 minutes before the start of the performance to enjoy pre-show areas that include, interactive photo opportunities, food and beverage, and retail.
Are there strobe lights during the performance?
The Big Apple Circus uses a variety of lighting effects including, fog, haze, strobes and lasers.
Are food and beverage options available for purchase?
Yes, a variety of snacks, food, and beverages will be available for purchase.
Can you bring outside food or drinks?
We do not allow outside food and beverage.
Is photography and video filming allowed?
Yes, but flash photography is prohibited.

Ticket prices start at $27.50 for off-peak showtimes and escalate during peak showtimes and for the most desirable seats. This season, we have introduced special children’s pricing making the show affordable for the entire family. You can find pricing for individual performance dates here.
What are the different seating areas?
We have three pricing tiers in the Ringside section closest to the ring and two pricing tiers in the Mezzanine section. No seat is more than 50 feet from the ring.
Can I purchase tickets at the box office?
Yes, there will be a mobile box office on site in the southwest corner of the Lincoln Center Plaza. The box office will be open in early November. Check back for updates for date and times.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
No.

What do I do if the show is cancelled?
In the event of a performance cancellation, please contact the provider your purchased tickets from to reschedule. If we are unable to find a suitable date to exchange to, a full refund of your purchase will be provided.

We do not offer refunds. Should an emergency arise, we will do our best to rebook patrons to another evening. Please note this is strictly subject to availability.
There are two options to change performances.
1. Before finalizing your ticket purchase on BigAppleCircus.com, there will be the option of confirming a $9.99, one-time ticket exchange fee that will allow you to change your performance in the event you need to do so.
2. If you do not purchase the ticket exchange fee when you purchase your tickets and you need to exchange performances, a $19.95 exchange fee will be applied.
Please note that in the event you are changing from a weekday performance to a weekend or holiday performance, or from a weekend to a holiday performance, then the price differential from the two performances will be applied. If, however, you are changing from a holiday performance to a weekend or weekday performance, or a weekend to a weekday performance, there will be no refund or credit for the difference in price.

How do I enter the Big Apple Circus?
We encourage patrons to enter the Big Apple Circus through the Lincoln Center Plaza off Broadway/Columbus Avenue. Patrons can also enter on 62nd Street between Columbus Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue.
How early can I arrive before the showtime?
You can arrive up to 60 minutes early.
We do not allow pets into The Big Apple Circus.
Is there a coat check available?
