  • What can you expect from the experience? The Big Apple Circus experience includes a one-ring circus show presented in a Big Top tent, a food and beverage and retail experience, and a range of interactive moments and photo opportunities.
  • What is the theme for this year’s show? Following a few restless years for the City that Never Sleeps, the Big Apple Circus is back and ready to wake up the wonder in all of us with its new, one-ring spectacle called “DREAM BIG!” Join us under the Big Top at Lincoln Center, where the ordinary turns extraordinary, where the smallest moments become lifetime memories, and where dreams become reality!
  • Who are the performers in this year’s show? We will feature the fantastical performances from King of the High Wire Nik Wallenda, comic daredevil Johnny Rockett, The Kiriku Brothers, aerialist Alan Silva, trapeze artist Elli Huber, juggling master Gena Cristiani, Veranica and Her Talented Dogs, and more!
  • Are animals involved in the show? The Big Apple Circus does not use exotic animals in its performances. This year presents an act with domesticated dogs. All performing animals are cared for in accordance with USDA laws and guidelines.
  • What is the running time of the show? Each show runs for approximately 120 minutes including a 15-minute intermission.
  • How early should I arrive? You are welcome to arrive up to 60 minutes before the start of the performance to enjoy pre-show areas that include walk around entertainment, interactive photo opportunities, food and beverage and retail.
  • Are there strobe lights during the performance? The Big Apple Circus uses a variety of lighting effects including, fog, haze, strobes and lasers.
  • Are food and beverage options available for purchase? Yes, a variety of snacks, food, and beverages will be available for purchase.
  • Can you bring outside food or drinks? We do not allow outside food and beverage.
  • Is photography and video filming allowed? Yes but flash photography is prohibited.
  • Is there a coat check available? There is a coat check available only in the VIP section.
  • Is there a stroller check available? Yes, we will have a stroller check available in the front-of-house area.

  • How do I purchase tickets? You can purchase tickets online here, over the phone at 646-491-8941 or at our physical box office at Lincoln Center.
  • What are ticket prices? Ticket prices start at $25.00 for off-peak showtimes and escalate during peak showtimes and for the most desirable seats.
  • What are the different seating areas? We have three pricing tiers in the Ringside section closest to the ring and three pricing tiers in the Mezzanine section. No seat is more than 50 feet from the ring.
  • What are the different pricing categories? Our off-peak pricing is on non-holiday weekdays and our peak pricing is on weekends and holidays. Some holiday weeks are higher in price than other weekend dates.
  • Does my infant need a ticket? Children ages 2 and under do not need a ticket provided they sit on the lap of a ticket holder.
  • Can I purchase tickets at the box office? Yes, there will be a mobile box office on site in the southwest corner of the Lincoln Center plaza.
  • Is there a minimum age requirement? No.

  • Are there special discounts available for schools? Yes. Please contact our group sales agent (above) for more information.

  • What do I do if the show is cancelled? In the event of a performance cancellation, you will be contacted by the Big Apple Circus’ ticketing provider, Eventim, to reschedule. If Eventim is unable to find a suitable date for exchange, a full refund of your purchase will be provided. In case of any questions, you can contact our box office at boxoffice@bigapplecircus.com.
  • How can I add tickets to an order? Please call our box office at 646-491-8941 and we will do our best to accommodate ticket addition requests. Otherwise, you can look at the event’s seating chart online to check for availability and make another booking directly.
  • Are refunds available? We do not offer refunds. Should an emergency arise, we will do our best to rebook patrons to another evening. Please note this is strictly subject to availability.
  • How can I switch nights? Please call our box office at 646-491-8941 and we will do our best to accommodate ticket change requests. Please note that exchange can only be make for tickets at the same price level as the original ticket this is subject to availability and potential pricing adjustments.

  • How do I enter the Big Apple Circus? We encourage patrons to enter the Big Apple Circus through the Lincoln Center Plaza on Broadway/Columbus Avenue. Patrons can also enter on 62nd Street between Columbus Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue.
  • How early can I arrive before the showtime? Please arrive up to 60 minutes early to enjoy the pre-show entertainment areas.
  • Can I bring a pet? We do not allow pets into the Big Apple Circus.

  • Is accessible seating available? Yes, you can book accessible seating online, or by contacting the box office by phone at 646-491-8941 or by email at boxoffice@bigapplecircus.com for assistance with booking accessible seating.

  • What are our COVID-19 safety protocols? All staff and cast of The Big Apple Circus are vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus. The Big Apple Circus complies with all CDC and NY State and City guidelines concerning Covid-19. Please see the national CDC website for the most up to date information on Covid-19 guidelines.
  • Is proof of COVID-19 vaccination required? Not at this time.
  • Are masks required? Not at this time.
  • Is there security? Yes, the Big Apple Circus has 24 hour on-site security.
